Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating box trucks with GVW 14,500–26,000 lb.
• Must meet DOT requirements and possess medical certification.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds; team-lift for heavier items.
• Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and efficiency.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including overtime.
• Valid Driver License in state.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to complete scheduled customer deliveries.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload merchandise following safety procedures and DOT requirements.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, resolving routine questions and escalating issues when necessary.
• Utilize handheld technology to manage routes, obtain customer signatures, and document delivery completion.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Verify order accuracy and ensure merchandise is delivered in excellent condition.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, vehicle safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations.
• Support warehouse operations as needed (pulling, stocking, staging, inventory).
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Communicate proactively regarding delivery delays, route changes, or customer concerns.
