Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Delivery Driver in the Boston area to safely operate a company delivery vehicle and complete scheduled customer deliveries in assigned service areas. You will load, secure, transport, and unload merchandise, verify orders, and maintain safety and DOT compliance while delivering excellent customer service and collaborating with sales, operations, and service teams.

Must meet DOT medical certification, be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and work flexible hours including overtime;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles (GVW 14,500–26,000 lbs).
• Ability to meet DOT requirements and hold medical certification.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, with team lift for heavier items.
• Strong safety, customer service, and operational excellence.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to complete scheduled customer deliveries.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload merchandise following safety procedures and DOT requirements.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve routine delivery questions; escalate when needed.
• Utilize handheld tech to manage routes, capture signatures, and document delivery completion.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Verify order accuracy and ensure merchandise condition on delivery.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, vehicle safety standards, and transportation regulations.
• Support warehouse operations including pulling, stocking, staging, and inventory tasks.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service for a seamless customer experience.
