Job summary

Kroger Delivery in Independence, KY is seeking a Logistics/Customer Service Delivery Driver to provide excellent customer service while delivering customer orders to homes. You will drive a company vehicle, follow Kroger's safety standards and act as a brand ambassador for the Seamless Experience.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a good driving record. A DOT medical exam is required annually, and a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers on-time and in good condition.
• Act as brand ambassador when discussing Kroger's Seamless Experience and delivery process.
• Drive company vehicle safely and in accordance with driving standards.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate any route changes.
• Assist other drivers and help resolve issues in the field.
• Monitor and record temperatures to ensure food safety guidelines are followed.
• Report any vehicle defects and complete pre-inspection checks.
• Use company devices for mapping and customer interaction.
