Job summary

Orgill is seeking a Delivery Driver to support the distribution center in Augusta, GA. You will deliver hardware merchandise to Orgill customers, pick up returns, backhauls and return them to the DC or designated Orgill locations, while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

Requirements include a current Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement plus doubles, two years of tractor-trailer experience, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Class A license and HazMat endorsement.
• Two years minimum tractor driving experience.
• Willingness to perform Shuttle Driver functions and overnight stays.
• Excellent driving history and a strong safety record.

Primary Function

Primarily responsible for the support of the DC by efficiently delivering hardware related merchandise to Orgill, Inc. customers. The Delivery Driver also picks up customer returns, backhauls and empty totes and transports them back to the DC or designated Orgill locations.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES

2 YEARS EXPERIENCE AND A CLASS A COMMERICAL DRIVERS LICENSE

Base pay

up to $91,000 per year base on experience

Specific Responsibilities

• Must be able to operate a tractor-trailer with one or more trailers.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Must possess a current Class A license and HazMat endorsement. Doubles required.
• Adhering to all DOT requirements and be willing to perform Shuttle Driver functions
• Must have past two years minimum tractor driving experience. Preferably experience pulling double trailers.
• Must be willing and able to work as needed. Overnight stays will be required.
• Must have excellent driving history.
• Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices.
