Job summary

Orgill is seeking a Delivery Driver to support the distribution center in Augusta, GA. You will deliver hardware merchandise to Orgill customers, pick up returns, backhauls and return them to the DC or designated Orgill locations, while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

Requirements include a current Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement plus doubles, two years of tractor-trailer experience, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Class A license and HazMat endorsement.
• Two years minimum tractor driving experience.
• Willingness to perform Shuttle Driver functions and overnight stays.
• Excellent driving history and a strong safety record.
• Ability to read, write and speak English, and interact with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer with one or more trailers.
• Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections.
• Deliver and unload merchandise at customer stores, by hand if needed.
• Complete required paperwork (DOT logs, manifests, trip reports, fuel reports).
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure safe handling of goods.
• Adhere to DC housekeeping guidelines and company policies.
• Take direction from Supervisor and meet deadlines.
