Oerlikon Group is seeking a Delivery Driver for our Wixom, MI facility. The role involves operating company vans to pick up and deliver coated products between the Coating Center and customers, with occasional work in the coating center.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, documentation, vehicle maintenance, and ensuring compliance with fleet policies. A strong work ethic, safety focus, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be comfortable with hands-on work and able to lift 44 lbs.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic, high energy, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. export regulations ITAR compliance – eligible to work in the U.S.

We are looking for a Delivery Driver for our Wixom facility. In this role you will operate company vans and/or delivery vehicles and will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of coated products to and from the Coating Center to the Customer. This position requires the Delivery Driver to load and unload materials, goods, equipment between various destinations as assigned. Delivery Driver also prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely and accurate transportation. May be responsible for vehicle maintenance and presentation. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines and procedures to perform the functions of the job. This position also requires the delivery driver to work in the coating center when not driving. This position can be 95 percent driving and 5 percent working in the center. This can include packing, fixturing, and receiving.

Your Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers and co-workers in a ‘customer-friendly’ manner.
• Demonstrate Safe driving habits and patience.
• Handle customer tooling with the utmost care
• Act as liaison to Center Management with regards to customer’s needs, observations, and competitive climate
• Follow the Fleet Management requirements as defined in the company policy.
• Maintain delivery vehicle.
• Ensure all registrations, license plates and insurance are up to date.
• Work in the coating center when not on the road driving
• Obtaining customer signatures when needed

Your Profile:
