Job Purpose

The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for creating, building, and confirming trips via telephone and email contact with customers. They will support pick-up and delivery of products according to customer orders, providing outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Description

The Delivery Coordinator creates, builds, and confirms trips through customer contact, supporting the pick-up and delivery process, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a positive attitude and high motivation level.
  • Assist customers and staff with problems professionally and provide resolutions.
  • Understand and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Schedule customers in your designated area and assist in other areas as needed.
  • Monitor trips to ensure they meet capacity and are built, routed, and confirmed on time.
  • Explain storage policies to customers when needed.
  • Create customer pick-up orders.
  • Document all customer contact in the delivery memo pad.
  • Perform duties assigned by the supervisor and suggest improvements.
  • Arrive punctually and work scheduled hours consistently.
  • Respond to tasks, emails, and voicemails promptly.
  • Contribute to team efforts and perform related duties as required.
  • Confirm delivery details with customers (date, time, COD, etc.).
  • This is an onsite position; duties may change or expand as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years' experience in customer service, delivery, or a related field.

Working Conditions

This role operates in a professional office environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to talk or hear, with the ability to see close and focus, lift files, open cabinets, and stand on a stool as necessary.
