SUMMARY:The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions related to RV deliveries and inventory unit preparation. This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing documentation, and ensuring a smooth administrative process throughout the RV delivery and inventory prep lifecycle.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain accurate records of all work orders, ensuring completeness and compliance with company policies.
  • Act as a liaison between different departments involved in the delivery process, such as dispatch, specialty shops and sales team.
  • Communicate delivery schedules, changes, and any relevant information to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Obtain or write necessary estimates of needed repairs.
  • Keep all paperwork and repair order statuses current.
  • Coordinate the delivery of purchased RVs, ensuring they are prepared, inspected, and ready for customer handover.
  • Complete We Owe and offer a warm hand off to Retail Advisors.
  • Ensure the RV is clean, functional, and meets the customer's expectations prior to delivery.
  • Perform daily status updates with all stakeholders to:
    • Review status of the day’s deliveries & the next day’s deliveries
    • Ensure customers get rescheduled when applicable
  • Attend all company required meetings and training.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an administrative or operational role, preferably in an automotive or service-related industry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Minimum 2 years fixed operations experience or equivalent.
  • Accurate typing skills 30wpm.
