Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to greet customers and assist with a wide range of deli offerings—from sliced meats and cheeses to hot foods and grab-and-go items.

You will help maintain attractive displays, ensure product freshness, and provide friendly, efficient service. In this role you will stock, label, price, and rotate products, operate slicers and other prep equipment, and keep the department clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh food and assist customers with deli selections to create a welcoming experience.
• Stock department displays, monitor product freshness, and ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the day.
• Slice meats, prepare grab-and-go items, and handle utensils and equipment safely.
• Take customer orders in person or by phone and process transactions with accuracy.
