Responsibilities

• Assist deli personnel with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling and preparing hot and cold deli food.
• Clean, assemble and prepare equipment for operation; ensure equipment is in working order.
• Adhere to quality control and food safety standards; stock and rotate deli products.
• Stack pallets and sort product according to efficiency standards.
• Provide friendly, customer-service oriented attitude by greeting customers and taking orders.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling.
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary working and shopping environment in line with safety procedures.
