Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a deli associate to prepare hot and cold deli foods to company standards. You will assist with slicing, weighing, packaging, and presenting products while delivering friendly, service-oriented support to customers in-store and by phone.

Responsibilities include operating slicers safely, maintaining cleanliness, rotating stock, and following safety procedures. Applicants must be 16+, with 18+ to operate equipment, and hold a Food Handler certificate; flexible

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16
• 18+ to operate and clean motorized equipment
• Food Handler certification required
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, label and prepare deli foods.
• Maintain equipment and ensure working order.
• Greet customers and take orders by phone or in person.
• Promote product sales and maintain clean, sanitary work area.
