Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring for a deli associate to prepare hot and cold deli foods, take customer orders, and maintain appealing displays. You will interact with customers, support team members, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Candidates should be 18+ to operate equipment, 16+ to work as a partner, and hold a Food Handler certification. Flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a retail environment is preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow product handling and safety procedures.
• Able to operate deli equipment and tools responsibly.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler certification is required before or at start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold deli foods according to company standards.
• Take and fulfill customer order requests and maintain attractive product presentation.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling when appropriate.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, service-oriented assistance.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary working environment following safety procedures.
