Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Winnsboro, LA is hiring a Deli Associate to prepare hot and cold items according to standards and to provide friendly, attentive service. You will assist with slicing, packaging, labeling, stocking, and maintaining clean, safe deli areas while delivering excellent customer experiences to shoppers.

Must be 18+ to operate equipment, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with team members to ensure accurate orders and appealing displays.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16; 18+ to operate motorized equipment
• Food Handler certification required
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays
• Ability to learn new systems and processes
• Strong customer service orientation

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold deli foods according to company standards
• Assist with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling and order filling
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary deli area
• Stock and rotate deli products and set up displays
• Greet customers and answer questions to promote sales and service
