Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring for a deli associate in our Texas stores. You will help prepare hot and cold deli items, take orders from customers in person or by phone, and present products attractively to boost sales.

The role requires 16+ years, with 18+ to operate equipment; training is provided. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment with evenings, weekends, and holidays possible, and you’ll be part of a team focused on safety and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16; 18+ to operate and clean motorized equipment.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist deli personnel with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling.
• Prepare hot and cold deli foods and maintain attractive presentation.
• Clean, assemble and prepare equipment; inspect for proper working order.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and take orders in person or by phone.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area per company procedures.
