Job summary

Jerry’s Enterprises, Inc. is hiring for a deli associate to join our team at Cub Lake Street. The role involves preparing deli products, including a variety of cheeses, salads, beef, fish, poultry, and pork, and ensuring cases and displays are stocked.

You will fill shifts, rotate products, handle heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, manage a weekly schedule, train staff, and help with merchandising and receiving while keeping a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli operations or food service preferred (2–3 years).
• Food safety training and knowledge of proper cooking and holding temperatures.
• Motivated to grow career and learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli products including cheeses and salads.
• Prepare meat and seafood products including a variety of beef, fish, poultry, and pork.
• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may be some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs) and manages shrink.
• Creates and manages a weekly work schedule for employees.
• Will train and develop deli employees.
• Assists with merchandising and receiving products to keep our shelves full.
• Helps maintain a clean and sanitary store.
