Raley's in Tucson is seeking an Asst. Deli Team Lead to guide the Deli/Bistro team with a strong emphasis on customer service and product quality. The role includes supervising staff in the lead's absence, coordinating with store leadership, and ensuring deli operations run smoothly from prep to service.

The position supports merchandising, safety, and compliance with food safety standards while maintaining clean work areas and high service standards for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to supervise and lead a deli/bistro team, with focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel in the absence of the Deli Team Leader, meet department goals, and coordinate with store director and supervisors.
• Oversee preparation, serving, and merchandising of deli/bistro items including breakfast, lunch, dinner entrees, fried chicken, pizzas, salads, and other items for hot and cold cases.
• Display deli/bistro merchandise per guidelines; rotate items to ensure quality and shrink control.
• Maintain clean, organized counters, prep areas, shelves, and walk-in coolers/freezers; monitor sanitation and safety.
