Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Manager to lead one of our busiest departments. You’ll empower the deli team to deliver high-quality products and exceptional service while driving responsible inventory and scheduling decisions.

As a key store leader, you’ll collaborate with the Store Manager to recruit, coach, and develop staff, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and strive for an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of deli department experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior toward Team Members and customers.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the deli department to maximize productivity and profit.
• Order and manage inventory and ensure product quality.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and direction.
• Recruit, hire, and promote in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Create schedules to ensure optimal staffing and efficiency.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
