Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Deli Manager to lead one of our busiest departments and empower a high-performing team in-store. You will drive product quality, optimize schedules, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of deli department experience; or an acceptable combination of experience.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Have outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude towards Team Members and customers.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to take and give direction, participating in a team environment.
• Strong focus on detail, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong organization and planning skills; able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Maintain Food Safety certification and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and merchandise the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Order and manage inventory controls, product quality.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and service and a great customer experience.
• Coach and evaluate team members; conduct bi-annual performance reviews.
• Attend in-store meetings and participate in hiring decisions with Store Manager.
• Address team member concerns and take corrective actions as needed.
• Create schedules to ensure productivity and staffing levels.
