Job summary

Responsibilities include training staff, managing inventories, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining high sanitation and food safety standards. A ServSafe certification is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervision and deli operations.
• Must have ServSafe certification or be willing to obtain; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in supervision decisions aligned with Town Pump standards.
• Lead daily operations to optimize costs, sales, food costs and shrink.
• Conduct new employee orientation and ongoing training for staff.
• Perform daily walkthroughs, prioritize tasks, delegate and follow up.
• Maintain accurate inventories and deli merchandise, monitor PLUs and expiry dates.
• Ensure deli area sanitation, proper food prep, kitchen safety and equipment maintenance.
• Check in deli vendors, verify orders, and manage stock, packing and mis-picks.
