The Fresh Market on Hilton Head Island is seeking a Deli Specialist to maintain freshness, proper rotation, and engaging guest service. You will support deli inventory, ensure planograms, and assist with promotions and seasonal events.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude. Experience in retail or hospitality preferred; lifting up to 50 pounds; flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during item transitions and promotional events.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
