The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to ensure deli department excellence, maintain product freshness, and support merchandising standards. You will help with inventory accuracy, rotation, and guest engagement to deliver a memorable shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years in retail, grocery, restaurant or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
