Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Deli Clerk in Holladay, Utah. You will assist customers, prepare fresh and easy meals, and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented with a clean, sanitary area.

The role requires reliability, excellent customer service, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, stand for long periods, and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Training on safety and Food Handlers permit is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a HS diploma or equivalent and grocery/restaurant experience.
• Reliable, outgoing and able to interact with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Follow safety rules and obtain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Fill, rotate, and display products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely (slicer, ovens, scales) per standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary deli area and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and log product shipments for accuracy.
