Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to assist customers with healthy choices and to prepare and present fresh, appealing deli items. You will handle slicing, packaging, and rotating products while maintaining a clean, safe deli area.

The role requires reliability, good communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Prior experience in grocery or food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable education/experience mix.
• Dependable and reliable with strong teamwork and positive attitude.
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting healthy options and preparing fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, displayed, and clean.
• Maintain rotation, freshness, and cleanliness of deli displays and area.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain hygiene standards.
