Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is hiring a Deli Clerk to assist customers with healthy food choices and prepare quick meals. You will wrap, label, and present deli items while maintaining a clean, safe deli area and assisting with special orders and party trays.

We value reliable, friendly team players with strong communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Prior deli or grocery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting healthy foods and prepare simple meals.
• Ensure deli items are prepared, wrapped, labeled, and presented neatly.
• Fill, rotate, and display products in the deli area.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely (slicer, ovens, scales, etc.).
• Keep deli area clean, sanitary, and compliant with safety rules.
• Receive and inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy.
