Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our fast-paced deli team. You will assist customers, prepare fresh meals, and ensure products are properly displayed, labeled, and maintained in a clean deli area.

The role requires teamwork and a positive attitude to help customers make healthy choices. Responsibilities include operating deli equipment safely, handling special orders, and keeping the department organized and sanitary.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure Deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented with cleanliness.
• Fill, maintain, rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and according to standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment; clean shelves and floors.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment quality.
