Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery or related field.
• Be dependable and reliable with a positive attitude.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Demonstrates safety, health and sanitation awareness; Food Handlers permit desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices and prepare fresh meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented cleanly.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays; handle special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment following company standards and keep area clean and sanitary.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
