Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred.
• Be dependable, reliable and friendly with customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to take special orders and answer phones.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods; maintain cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged and presented.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment following company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment; clean shelves and floors.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
