Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to ensure deli department excellence, including freshness, merchandising accuracy, and food safety compliance. You will support inventory, rotation, and guest engagement while assisting with promotions and seasonal events.

This role requires 1+ year of retail or hospitality experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during promotions and seasonal events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
