The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to deliver deli department excellence, maintain product freshness, and uphold food safety standards. You will support inventory accuracy, rotation, and presentation while engaging guests with a welcoming service mindset.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year of retail or hospitality experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
