Job summary

The Fresh Market seeks a Deli Specialist to lead deli department excellence, ensuring product freshness, proper merchandising, and food safety standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will support inventory accuracy, rotation, and promotions, and collaborate with leadership on ordering and promotions.

You will help maintain presentation on the sales floor during promotions and seasonal events, providing customer service and teamwork to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards with proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness and proper receiving/storage procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
