Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to ensure deli department excellence, maintain freshness and rotation, and support promotions with accurate merchandising and signage. You will engage guests and uphold food safety standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities include coordinating ordering, verifying deliveries, and maintaining department readiness for promotions, while adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and rotation standards.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, with proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
