Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Miami, FL is seeking a Deli Team Member to slice, package, and sell deli items, while ensuring freshness and presentation in the department.

You will assist members, prepare special orders, receive shipments, rotate stock, and maintain clean, safe deli areas in accordance with food safety standards. This role requires at least 18 years old and prior deli experience is preferred, with weekly pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Deli experience preferred.
• Experience operating meat slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level of customer service to Members and answers questions.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, including cheeses and meats.
• Prepares and packages special orders and party trays.
• Receives and inspects deli shipments; stocks and rotates deli items.
• Ensures products are fresh and meet quality standards; checks for out-of-date items.
• Operates and sanitizes deli equipment; keeps areas clean and safe.
