Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Deli Team Member to slice, package, and weigh deli products, including meats and cheeses, while delivering friendly, efficient service to Members. You will help with selections, provide special orders, and maintain deli display areas for freshness and appearance.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and flexible, fast-paced operation within a well-stocked deli department to support daily club goals and Member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli department preferred.
• Experience operating slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members in the deli department.
• Slice, package, and weigh deli products including cheeses and meats.
• Assist members with selections and special orders; prepare party trays.
• Receive and inspect deli shipments; rotate and stock deli items.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper food safety in deli areas; sanitize equipment.
• Ensure accurate pricing and labeling; keep display cases neat and organized.
