Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Deli Associate to slice, package, weigh meats and cheeses, and assist Members with product selection in a fast-paced deli department.

You will be responsible for receiving shipments, stocking and rotating deli products, and maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards. A minimum of 18 years old and prior deli experience are preferred; training provided for equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level of customer service to Members and answers questions.
• Slices, packages, weighs deli products and assists Members with product selection.
• Prepares and packages special orders and party trays.
• Receives, inspects and stocks deli shipments; displays, stocks and rotates deli items.
• Operates deli equipment safely and maintains cleanliness of the department.
• Maintains correct signage and price labeling; ensures product freshness and quality.
