Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our store team. You will prepare, slice, package, and serve deli meats, cheeses, salads, and hot foods while delivering fast, friendly service. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous deli, food service, or retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, efficient service.
• Slice, weigh, and package deli meats and cheeses according to customer specifications.
• Prepare and display deli items such as salads, rotisserie chicken, sandwiches, and hot foods.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of deli cases, prep areas, and equipment.
• Monitor product freshness and quality, rotating stock as needed.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Label and price products accurately.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, and restocking deli items.
• Answer customer questions about ingredients, preparation, and recommendations.
• Follow all store policies and health department regulations.
