Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a deli team member to slice, package, weigh, and sell a variety of deli products, including meats and cheeses. You will maintain deli presentation and cleanliness, assist Members, and support department operations to deliver great service.

Expect a fast-paced environment with focus on accurate weighing, food safety, and teamwork. This role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members, answer questions, and recommend deli items.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products, and help Members select correct items.
• Receive, inspect, and rotate deli shipments; ensure freshness and quality.
• Maintain clean and organized deli display cases and equipment.
• Ensure accurate weighing and pricing; follow safety policies and procedures.
• Support other duties and departments as needed.
