Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking team members to join the deli, cafe, and cheese sections. You will enter orders, schedule work, supervise, train, and stock items while ensuring proper labeling and safety procedures.

The role involves preparing sandwiches, pizza, and grab-and-go items, cleaning work areas, and assisting customers with product selections. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S., meet safety and ergonomic requirements, and maintain food safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete a food safety certification every 5 years.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare the workstation.
• Perform markdowns and track loss.
• Prepare deli items and display cases according to SOPs.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors, and counters.
• Prepare and stock products in department sales floor cases.
• Plan weekly Circular ad.
