Schnucks is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our team in the deli department. The role emphasizes friendly customer service, accurate order preparation, and efficient production of sandwiches and salads.

The position requires ability to stand for shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow strict food safety guidelines. Training and teamwork are emphasized to ensure high-quality products and customer satisfaction.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Basic math skills for translating pounds and ounces into decimals.
• Attention to detail and a focus on food safety and sanitation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers in person and on the phone.
• Maintain cleanliness of the deli area, equipment, and displays.
• Slice and weigh lunch meats and cheeses and suggest thickness options to customers.
• Operate meat slicer, scales, and wrapping equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and party trays while following recipes and quality standards.
• Assist with stocking, rotation, and presentation of deli products.
• Follow food safety procedures and maintain proper temperature controls.
