Schnucks is seeking a Deli Clerk to provide friendly customer service and help prepare fresh sandwiches and salads in a fast-paced deli environment. You will rotate and display products, slice meats and cheeses, handle packing and safety procedures, and maintain cleanliness while working closely with teammates to meet store standards.

Role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, following safety protocols, and flexibility for a varied schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to demonstrate basic math skills (e.g., pounds/ounces to decimals).
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Food safety knowledge and safe handling practices.
• Works well with others, is a team player.
• Food preparation experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, in person and on the phone.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, deli cases, and backroom following safety guidelines.
• Follow proper personal hygiene requirements and time/temperature controls.
• Slice and weigh lunch meats and cheeses; offer thickness options to customers.
• Establish product knowledge and assist with customer questions and sampling.
• Fill/rotate/date products for the display case; operate slicers and scales as required.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and special orders per recipes while ensuring quality.
