Job summary

Schnuck Markets, Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our team. You will provide friendly customer service, assist with deli preparation, and maintain product quality in a fast-paced environment.

You must be 18+, able to work nights, holidays, and weekends, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Training will cover food safety, equipment use, and proper handling to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Food safety awareness and proper handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers in person and on the phone.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, deli cases, and backroom according to guidelines.
• Slice and weigh lunch meats and cheeses and confirm slice thickness with the customer.
• Operate deli equipment safely and follow food safety rules.
• Assist in product production, display rotation, and restocking as needed.
• Support other duties as assigned by management.
