Job summary

Schnucks is seeking friendly Deli Clerks to provide courteous service and prepare fresh sandwiches and salads with high-quality standards. You’ll assist customers, take orders, and maintain the deli area to meet food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers in person and over the phone
• Maintain cleanliness of deli area, equipment, cases, and backroom
• Follow safety, health, and weights and measures regulations; observe temperatures
• Slice and weigh lunch meats and cheeses and confirm thickness with customers
• Assist in product production, packaging, display, and restocking
• Multi-task while keeping the customer as priority and maintaining reliable attendance
• Follow proper handling procedures for knives, slicers, and sharp utensils
