Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring for full-time and part-time Cold Food (Salad) positions at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK. The roles involve preparing and serving salads, sandwiches, and other cold foods, with a pay rate of $12.50–$14.00 per hour.

Prior food service experience and knife skills are required. Typical shifts run during daytime hours; candidates should be able to stand for long periods and maintain high sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and prep requirements from Chef.
• Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads per standards.
• Stock deli/cold products and condiments following merchandising guidelines.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays between workstation, stove and fridge.
• Store food with proper wrapping, dating and rotation per HACCP.
