Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring a kitchen/dining associate at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK. Shifts run Sunday through Wednesday and Thursday through Sunday, 10:30 am to 9:00 pm. Food preparation and service duties ensure safety and quality in a university dining environment.

You will prepare food to standards, assist in ordering and receiving, and support daily operations while upholding HACCP and safety requirements.

Qualifications

2 years of prior high‑volume food kitchen experience.
Must be able to read and follow a recipe.

Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
Serve meals or prepare them for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring temperature and appearance.
Maintain cleanliness and safe storage of food and supplies; follow safe food-handling procedures.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
Assist in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
Adhere to HACCP standards and safety procedures.
