Job summary

Compass Group USA in Alva, OK is hiring for Cold Food (Salad) positions, available as full-time and part-time roles. Duties include slicing deli meats and cheeses, preparing sandwiches and salads, and serving cold food items to guests.

Responsibilities also cover stocking, food safety, sanitation, and coordinating with Chef to meet daily production needs. Prior food service and knife skills are required; standing for long periods may be necessary. Training in our cafeteria is provided.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and prep requirements from Chef.
• Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments, and salads following approved standards.
• Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments.
• Transport pans, kettles and trays between workstation, stove and fridge.
• Store food per HACCP, dating and rotation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize counters, surfaces, and refrigeration units.
• Slice meats and cheeses to designated thickness using slicer.
• Coordinate with coworkers to meet service, inventory, and cash procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per sanitation and safety rules.
