Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Deli Clerk in Fenton, Michigan to prepare, package, display and stock deli products with a focus on guest experience and safety. You will work in a team to meet merchandising plans and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma (GED preferred), basic math, and strong attention to detail. Prior retail experience is preferred, with adaptability to varied tasks across departments.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.
• Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations and inventory checks.
• Detail oriented with accuracy in packaging, labeling and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce deli products according to production plan.
• Package and label deli products per program plan.
• Merchandise deli products per flight plan; rotate and date stock.
• Stock backroom with deli products, ensure freshness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet store growth targets.
• Notify Deli Manager when supplies are low or need reordering.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• Support guest experience guidelines and uphold quality standards.
