Job summary

SpartanNash, a food solutions company operating Family Fare stores in Michigan, is hiring a part-time Deli Associate at 2275 Health Drive SW, Wyoming, MI. You will prepare, bag, label and merchandise deli products, stock the backroom, and work with other departments to support store growth.

Requirements include a high school diploma (GED) preferred, about 1 year of retail experience, basic reading/writing and math, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce deli products to production planner.
• Package and label deli products per program plan.
• Merchandise deli products per flight plan/merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with deli products – rotating and dating cases/buckets.
• Notify the Deli Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines and cleaning expectations.
• Follow guest experience guidelines.
