Job summary

Three Bears Alaska, Inc. is seeking a Deli PIC in Palmer, AK to prepare and display ready-to-eat products, supervise deli staff, and order items to maximize sales with minimal shrink.

You will ensure compliance with health codes and sanitation standards while providing prompt customer service. Responsibilities include rotating stock, operating ovens and slicers, and coordinating with other departments to meet daily goals; prior food handling experience and HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food handling certification as required by local government.
• Food preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display ready-to-eat products per guidelines.
• Schedule and supervise deli department team.
• Order products for optimum sales and minimal shrink.
• Maintain health code and sanitation standards.
• Operate ovens, slicers, scales, and other equipment.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service, including special orders.
• Rotate stock and stage ingredients for preparation area.
