Job summary

Three Bears Alaska is seeking a Deli PIC to prepare and display ready-to-eat products, supervise the deli team, and ensure quality and sales targets are met in a store setting. The role involves coordinating daily production, stock rotation, and customer service while complying with health codes and safety standards.

Requirements include forklift certification, food handling certification, and experience in food preparation.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food handling certification as required by local government.
• Food preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display ready-to-eat products according to guidelines.
• Supervise deli department team members.
• Schedule and supervise to meet sales targets and minimize shrink.
• Rotate stock and determine product quality for mark downs.
• Ensure proper temperatures, sanitation, and health code compliance.
• Operate ovens, slicers, dishwashers, and other equipment.
• Provide prompt customer service including special orders.
