Job summary

Three Bears Alaska is hiring a Deli PIC to prepare and display ready-to-eat products in a store setting. You will order inventory for optimum sales, supervise deli staff, rotate stock, and ensure proper temperatures and sanitation compliant with health codes.

The role involves operating ovens and slicers, providing friendly customer service, and supporting front-end tasks as needed. Training and certification in forklift use and food handling are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Handling Certification as required by local government.
• Forklift certification training required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display ready-to-eat products per guidelines.
• Order products for optimum sales and minimal shrink.
• Supervise deli department team members.
• Rework display to meet daily production needs and rotate product.
• Ensure health-code compliance and sanitation standards.
• Prepare hot food items and stage ingredients for service.
• Provide prompt customer service and handle special orders.
• Operate deli equipment including oven, slicer and scales.
• Assist with front-end duties and other store departments as needed.
