Job summary

Indiana Grocery Group is seeking a Deli Manager to supervise daily deli operations, schedule staff, train and evaluate performance, and drive margins in the deli department. You will develop merchandising plans, create displays, merchandise new items and promotional tie-ins to meet sales objectives.

You will maintain proper inventory levels, track records for gross profit, and control costs by monitoring operations, labor, shrinkage, and losses while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all aspects of Deli operations.
• Proven ability to meet budget expectations.
• Experience managing in food service.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all departmental associates and oversees training and performance.

• Maintains inventory levels and tracks records to calculate gross profits.
